Trust is built by what happens when the plan changes.
Technology improves visibility. Process reduces avoidable risk. Experienced people stay involved when conditions no longer match the plan. Below is what actually happens at each step, what gets verified, and who owns it.
Five steps, every load, in this order.
- 01
Plan
Lane, timing, equipment, permits, escorts, appointments, and site access confirmed. Constraints identified in writing before capacity is sourced.
- 02
Qualify
Carrier identity, operating authority, insurance, and safety record verified against the specific shipment — before every tender, not once at onboarding.
- 03
Execute
Complete load details issued in writing. Rate confirmation before dispatch. Pickup verified. Tracking confirmed against the actual driver.
- 04
Respond
Exceptions communicated with the problem, the options, and a recommendation — before your receiver calls you.
- 05
Document
POD, accessorials, exceptions, and closeout recorded and delivered. Nothing left for you to chase.
Clear, present, accountable.
- No disappearing when the answer is difficult. The exception protocol targets customer notice within 30 minutes of a verified material risk — within 15 minutes for an emergency — whether or not we have a solution yet.
- No vague updates that create more questions. Every status carries location, ETA, and what changed since the last one.
- No avoidable surprises passed downstream. If we learn it, you learn it — before your customer does.
- No handoff that removes ownership. The founder who books the load closes the load.
Visibility, speed, and better information
Modern tools improve tracking, documentation, and decision-making. We name ours rather than gesturing at them — the stack is listed on the capabilities page.
Judgment, context, and ownership
Technology cannot replace informed judgment or personal responsibility. Experienced people stay involved — especially when conditions no longer match the original plan.
Working with a new brokerage.
You're new.
Avora is. We aren't. Both founders previously built and ran a federal contractor — an ISBEE serving tribal government agencies, 2019 to 2024, zero to approaching $1M in revenue inside 24 months. The freight authority is what is new: MC number assigned in August 2026, activating on bond and BOC-3 filing. What was built before we asked for freight: a documented carrier qualification standard, written exception and claims protocols, and published payment terms.
Who handles my load?
Brooke or Dan. Direct line, no queue, no rotating account team.
What if you can't cover it?
We decline rather than accept and scramble. A refused load costs you an hour. A failed cover costs you a line, a deadline, or a delivery date on a contract.
How do I know you won't double-broker it?
Contractually prohibited without written authorization, and enforced. Identity, authority, and insurance verified before every tender.
What happens when it goes wrong?
You hear it from us first. Claims acknowledged in writing within four hours with a named owner, documented to resolution.
Will you still be here in a year?
Bond and insurance status, with dates, are published on the compliance page. You can check what we've said against what FMCSA shows.
