Specialized freight, managed end to end by the people who answer your call.
Two founders, every load, no handoffs. Open-deck, expedited, project, and non-sensitive government freight — for defense primes, data center builders, aerospace programs, and life sciences manufacturers. The person who quotes your freight is the person on it until the POD is signed.
Numbers we can be held to.
Avora hasn't moved freight yet, so there is no on-time percentage to quote and we won't invent one. What we can do is publish the commitments we intend to be judged on — and put them in writing before you ever tender a load.
Buyers who can't accept a surprise.
Government & Defense
A 5% incentive payment for the prime that subcontracts to us. Under DFARS 252.226-7001, a prime may claim an incentive payment worth 5% of a subcontract awarded to an Indian-owned economic enterprise. Avora qualifies by self-representation — no certification queue, no lead time.

Documented handling procedures, carrier qualification you can audit, temperature monitoring with retained data, and a written exception protocol. The SOPs are published, not promised — your quality team can read them before you qualify us.

Transformers, switchgear, gensets, chillers, and modular halls — routed, permitted, and sequenced against the construction schedule. On this freight the job is protecting an energization date, not shaving a rate.

Complete load details before booking. Rates and terms in writing. Detention, layover, and TONU reviewed honestly. Net 30 standard, or 2% quick pay at two days. Our requirements and our payment terms are on the page, not buried in a PDF.

Every shipment runs the same sequence. It is the same sequence whether the load is routine or the worst day of your quarter.

Working with a new brokerage.
Avora is new. FMCSA publishes authority dates, so you would find out in a minute anyway — we would rather answer it here, in the order you're actually thinking it.
You're new.
Avora is. We aren't. Both founders previously built and ran a federal contractor — an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise serving tribal government agencies from 2019 to 2024, taken from zero to approaching $1M in revenue in under two years, with Brooke as Procurement Director. Different industry, same discipline: federal representations, socioeconomic eligibility, and delivering to agencies that audit their vendors. What is new here is the freight authority: MC number assigned in August 2026, activating on surety bond and BOC-3 filing. The status and dates are on the compliance page, not hidden in it. Read the compliance record → Verify us: California Secretary of State · FMCSA Licensing & Insurance · our address.
Who actually handles my load?
One of two founders — Brooke Young or Daniel Allen. Not a rotating account team, not a dispatcher you've never spoken to. You get a direct line, and the person who books your freight is the person who calls you when something moves.
What if you can't cover it?
We decline rather than accept and scramble. Capacity is sourced per load from carriers verified before tender; if it can't be covered, you're told in writing. A refused load costs you an hour to re-source. A failed cover costs you a production line, a clinical deadline, or a delivery date on a government contract. We would rather lose the load than be the reason you miss.
How do I know you won't double-broker it?
Rebrokering without written authorization is contractually prohibited in our carrier agreement and enforced. Carrier identity, operating authority, and insurance are verified before every tender — against FMCSA records and directly with the insurer, not from a certificate alone — and tracking is confirmed with the driver who is actually on the load. Not once at onboarding and then assumed.
What happens when it goes wrong?
You hear it from us before you hear it from your receiver. Exceptions are communicated with the problem, the options, and a recommendation. Claims are acknowledged in writing within four hours with a named owner, and documented through to resolution.
Why take the risk on a new broker at all?
For defense primes, because a subcontract to Avora may return 5% of its value to you through the DoD Indian Incentive Program. For everyone, because a two-person firm that has published its standards is easier to hold accountable than a large one that hasn't — and because founder attention on a hard load is worth more than scale on an easy one.
Two people. Both reachable.
Avora's operating record starts with the people, because the company doesn't have one yet.
Daniel spent over a decade in commercial transportation — more than a million miles as a FedEx linehaul contractor running doubles and triples, ranked first of sixty-plus drivers on safety and performance, with zero preventable accidents, citations, or failed inspections. He built the training program that grew that fleet from under ten drivers to more than sixty, and in nearly nine years not one driver he trained caused an accident. He also founded and ran a federal contractor from 2019 to 2024, taking it from zero to approaching $1M in revenue inside its first two years.
Brooke was Procurement Director there — solicitations, set-aside eligibility, and the representations a contracting officer actually needs — and now leads finance, governance, and Avora's government-contracting track.
Between them: someone who has driven the freight, and someone who has won the contract. That is the reason to trust a new brokerage with a difficult load, and the reason the standards on this site read as specific rather than aspirational.
Meet the foundersAvora Logistics, LLC is majority-owned by Brooke Young, an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe. That makes Avora both a woman-owned business and an Indian-owned economic enterprise under DFARS 252.226-7001.
EDWOSB certification through SBA is in process. Until it is granted, this site describes ownership as fact and makes no certification claim.
Send the lane. A founder answers.
Quoted within two business hours from a complete lane and freight description. Time-critical freight gets a callback within sixty minutes, any hour. If we can't cover it, you'll be told why — in writing, before you've lost the hour.
